Raj Ghat Delhi Introduction Raj Ghat is a memorial located in Delhi, India. It is dedicated to Mahatama Gandhi, the father of our nation. It is situated in the banks of the Yamuna river. In older days, it was called as historic Ghat of Old Delhi. Later it was named Raj Ghat. Raj Ghat is built up with a black marble platform where Mahatma Gandhi is cremated in it. Gandhi Memorial Museum It is a memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. The memorial was designed by Vanu G. Bhuta. He is a person who lives the same as Mahatama Gandhi. Many foreign peoples who visit India pays attention to the Gandhi memorial by laying flowers in that place. The prayer sessions will be held on Gandhi’s birth and death anniversaries. Also, a remembrance ceremony happens every Friday. In the Gandhi Memorial Museum, a film will be shown to the visitors both in English and Hindi.
